Hotel reservations should be made directly through Hyatt Regency Online Reservations.
Reservations may also be made by calling the Hyatt directly at (312) 567-1234. Please identify yourself as a guest attending the HR-XML Consortium. Since the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place also is an official hotel for the HR Technology Conference and Exposition, you can make your reservations for that event (October 15-17) at the same time and stay in the same room all week.

All deposits for room reservations are fully refundable if a room is canceled 72 hours prior to the arrival date. An early departure fee of one night's room and tax will be charged for guests checking out prior to thier confirmed departure date.

Check-in time at the Hotel is 3:00 pm. Any room assignments prior to that time are based upon availability. Automated kiosks are provided in the lobby for the convenience of guests without special room arrangements or requirements. Check-out time is 12:00 pm. Video checkout is available in all guest rooms. Without prior approval, late checkout will incur additional charges.

Internet Access

Wired High Speed Internet access is available in the guestrooms. The cost is $9.99 for up to a 24 hours access period. Wireless is also available in public access areas.

Hotel Parking

Self-parking is available at $24 for 24 hours. Valet parking is available at $36 for 24 hours.

From Midway Airport (10 miles): Take Cicero Ave. north to Stevenson Expressway (I-55) North. Exit at Martin Luther King Drive. At light, turn left to hotel.

From O'Hare Int'l Airport:
Located on the lower level of each terminal, taxis are available at the taxi staging area. A ride from O'Hare to Hyatt Regency McCormick Place takes approx. 45 minutes and costs between $40-$45.

From Midway Airport:
Taxis are located in front of the main terminal. A cab ride from Midway Airport to Hyatt Regency McCormick Place costs between $20-$25
